Event Description
As part of our celebration of National Co-op Month in October, Kokua is participating with HPR's Challenge 2011. We are looking for eight volunteers to staff the phones and take pledge calls. We've participated for many years in this event, and it is always a blast. Luckily, we will be answering phones during the airing of "This American Life" on Saturday, October 15th from 1 pm to 3 pm, downstairs in the KIPO studio. To support the drive, Kokua's deli will be bringing delicious and healthy food for the station and volunteers to enjoy. Space is limited so please let us know right away if you would like to join us.
